Can’t believe I’m just now seeing this. Such kind words and great praise from everyone. Luke grew up with Jeff,so understandable he was having a rough time. The Porcaros, Luke and Paich all were in HS together. They knew each other well, all playing together at different times before David, Jeff, Steve and Luke put Toto together - on a strong suggestion from Boz.

Major props to DLR (whom I don't really care for) to stay in pitch with the track and block out that noise.

Jeff was a big part of Toto. I got goosebumps when Luke called everyone of these guys onto the stage.... Realising how much Jeff meant in the music industry is chilling.... All these musicians speaking up about Jeff.. You can really see Luke all teared up more than everyone else. Jeff was more than a friend to him. Rest in peace Jeff Porcaro! <3

I knew Frank well and jammed in a band with him in Springfield. Super nice and humble guy. Extremely talented player and sad he passed so young.

Les Paul is a guitar God in his own right. And Les Paul, like so many others realized that Edward Van Halen was a gamechanger. To hear Mr. Paul say "Eddie, GO GET 'EM"...... solidifies his own realization that Edward Van Halen is ...... simply Mt. Rushmore behind Jimi Hendrix. I remember seeing this YEARS ago when it originally hit the "tele." Les Paul was so just freaking cool and so much of an innovator..... having King Edward on and allowing him to be "Edward" was just awesome. This production just brings back so many memories like so many others for us Edward Van Halen fans. Shred in peace King Edward!!

To sum Hendrix up with "pedals" is a crime ! Two real game changers on guitar...Hendrix and Evh. And Hendrix paved the way for Evh and all the rest !! I love evh but I'll take live woodstock and machine gun live over anything evh did ! RIP to both.

I took drum lessons from Joe Porcaro when I was 14 years old , one day I came to the house on Valleyheart and Joe said " My son Jeff is in the studio practicing go in there and watch him" , OMG and so I did , well it was a life experience that I will cherish for the rest of my life . He was really nice to me and I've been telling this story for 47 years .
